Commemorative Plaques, 2013
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
On October 29, 2013, Victoria High School commemorated seven Alumni who served during the Great War by installing brass plaques in the school Auditorium. These Alumni were nominated by grade 12 student Krysteena White as men who represent Victoria High School's various roles in the War.
Her research, efforts to secure funding, and the generous donations of Victoria High School, Vic High's Social Studies Department, and the Royal Canadian Legion Pro Patria Branch made these plaques possible. They will serve as a permanent reminder of the sacrifices these men made for their country, city, and school.
